Dear friend,

Our family left California five years ago in search of land. We realized the world was changing quickly — AI, inflation, war — and we knew it was time to get back to our roots. After a year renting an apartment in Kansas City for $2,000 a month, paying for something we didn’t even own, we finally bought a run-down property in Missouri for $53,000 and got to work.

Today, it’s Ark Ranch. Our five-acre micro family compound just north of Kansas City. We have goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and even a dairy cow on the way. Our parents live in the main house, my brother Aaron is building his tiny cabin, and my wife Rachel and I live in our own.

We didn’t grow up farming. We grew up in the suburbs, renting our lives from systems we didn’t control. Land changed that. The first time I pulled a dozen eggs out of our own coop, I understood what true wealth is — what words like “heritage” and “legacy” actually mean.

I don’t just want to leave my children a house in the suburbs they don’t care about. I want to leave them land. I want to leave them livestock and mature food forests. I want to leave them a community of good Catholic families to grow alongside, and a chapel I helped build with my own hands.

Our mission is to build Catholic villages across the world.

We want to bring back the towns where the bell tower is the tallest thing on the horizon — communities where Christ rules, children thrive, and family is the foundation of everything.
